The number of people accessing the Internet from mobile and handheld devices is increasing at a massive rate - in 2008 alone there'll be an estimated 58 million PDAs sold worldwide (source: eTForecast3).Mobile Device Testing is the process to assure the quality of mobile devices, like mobile phone, PDA etc. The testing will be conducted on both hardware and software. And from the view of different procedures, the testing comprises R&D Testing, Factory Testing and Certificate Testing.
Since the telephone was invented in the late 1800s, telephone communication has not changed substantially.
